Hi all- I have Sidekick 98, Truesync Plus 1.06, and Palm Desktop 4.1.2 (Hotsync version 4.0). The problem is Truesync is not really syncing, it just copies changes and makes double entries. For example, if a change is made to a calendar entry on my Palm Tungsten E, Truesync will copy the original entry from SK98 to the Palm, and will copy the revised entry to SK98, and I end up with two entries, one the original and one the revised on both SK98 and the Palm device. In the memos it just makes two copies of everything on both, after I made no changes on either. To do's work like the calendar, it duplicates anything that has a change made to it. Can anyone advise me where to start looking for the problem?

Just a thought bazak,
Is the username exactly the same on the Tungsten as on the Win98 machine
(i.e. There are no uppercase letters or the username is not a spelt differently)?

Regards Jim

Dear Bazak,
Is anything happening on this front, does it ask you what name/user to synchronise to when you press the Sync button?
Regards
Jim

Hi Jim- sync seems to run just fine, it doesn't ask me anything. I tried changing the user name but no change. It just does not seem to recognize changes to existing entries as just changes, i.e anything changed at all is considered a new item and added to the opposite device. This results in duplicate entries all over the place, plus once in awhile it will add a bunch of finished to do's from the Palm on to the SK98 desktop. I'm thinking this could be an install order problem. Maybe I need to bite the bullet and delete everything and start from scratch.
