True-Sync and Rex Pro 5000

In a previous life I used Sidekick 98 and synched data to a Rex 5000 with True-Sync. SK98 still works fine with XP, True-Sync runs but doesn't see the Rex in the PCMCIA slot. I can't synch!
Rumor says that that it's a matter of the driver and that an NT driver may work.
Does anyone know what to do?
