Transfering Lotus 123 file.

I may be in the wrong thread, but here I go anyway.
I'm helping a friend set up a new computer system, including installing his Lotus SmartSuiet software. After I copyed his work folder over, the daily numbers are there, but in his summary files ERR is printed everywhere there is a cell reference. Is this a common problem or am I just missing something. This is my first time working with Lotus.

You are indeed in the wrong forum - this one is for Notes issues, not SmartSuite.

But no matter, let's try and solve the problem anyway.

You say the file contains daily numbers, but the summary data shows only ERR in the cells. I would suggest that you right-click on one of the ERR cells to find out what the reference is. My guess is that there might be an external reference to a file that is no longer on the proper path.

If that is the case, you'll need to correct the external file and all should get back in order the next time the file is opened.
