Transfer Files

Hello,

I have several PC's that are connected to an RS-6000 and are used as tty devices.
I currently use EMPATH to connect and use the PC's as IBM3151 terminals.

I am trying to find a way to transfer files to the PC from the RS-6000 with no operator intervention.

Now I can transfer files during the EMPATH session but the operator at the PC has to login on the RS-6000 and initiate the transfer.

Any ideas on how to get files from the RS-6000 to the PC without intervention would be appreciated.

hi,

what version of OS have you got installed on your PC , if NT you can load resource kit and part of that you get rcp commands equivalent. The other option is to install SAMBA and have a share which you can map to your PC .
