Time announcement info

It seems that dialing 853-1212 or 555-1212 for time announcement has already been discontinued. What do you guys use?

Thats the one I use also "303-499-7111" the Atomic clock in CO.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.


 
One alternative is to have a Linux or similar **ix box set to sync time to multiple NTP sites and use it as your time source when you set the clock. Several folks have Procomm Aspect or Rlogin scripts to periodically adjust your time.

And if your budget allows, there are also network GPS appliances to provide local NTP services.
