Three (3) pending MP installations...

I've got three sites I'm trying to re-install as secondary sites and they're all still pending after hours of waiting. I followed the procedures to remove the old MP and re-install IIS. THe advanced client hasn't been installed and there are no logs appearing.
Is there a true step by step doc for installing secondary site servers that'll serve as MP & DP's?
Any responses appreciated.

Secondary site removal instructions...and i have a secondary site step by step instruction but can't find it yet...I'll keep looking when I have a moment!
