this scripts works fine for forcing wsus updates on windows 7 workstation but I cannot get it to work on xp. I get this code error: Line 3 char 1 object required update searcher. thanks

I've never used WSUS with vbscript, but doing a quick google search shows one site with the following syntax. Your code is missing the first two "set" commands, which could explain the error. I don't know why the script would work in Win7 without those declarations though
