Terminal Server Security

I am going to remotely administer a win 2k server over the internet and want to know what the safest way of doing this is.
I was planing on using Terminal Server, but how secure is that ?
Is it better to use PcAnywhere ?

Why over the internet and not a dialup connection?
Can PCAnywhere run over the internet?

PCAnywhere runs over the internet perfectly..
However, If you success in setting up a VPN tunnel, you can run Terminal Services in a safe way as well... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
