TAPI trouble.

well after (i don't remember how many upgrades), I can't get my IPoffice line to show up in outlook. I've uninstalled the tapi driver, rebooted. then reinstalled the driver, rebooted. I'm using the lastest tapi driver v1.0.0.32, and lastest installer version.

I'm using outlook 2007, and windows xp pro with sp2. Firewall is disabled.

any thoughts?

try one or 2 reboots after the install, then most of the times it will show up.

Have you disabled windows firewall or the likes of an AVG firewall etc.

Windows firewall is disabled, and I have no other firewalls installed. I've just uninstalled again, and going to reboot 3 times for good measure.

I have the same problem. Once i went to Office 2007, my dialing from outlook will not work. Removed, installed and rebooted 100 times. Still no good. I have always had it working until now.

open Explorer and goto;

C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\TAPI\

install tapi2195.exe

Open Phone and Modem Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Phone and Modem Options.

Click the Advanced tab, remove the Avaya TAPI2 and add it again.

Greetzzz...Bas
