Tables and text flow

Please help!

I'm doing a 100+ page document which has tables dispered throughout it.

I want to be able to link the tables to the text so that when I edit the text the tables stay in the right place.

Is it best to create the tables in another programme and import them as images?

If so, how do I insert them into the text boxes?

...to create an inline graphic you need the object/move tool, select the picture box and copy, click in the text box with you text tool and paste...

...just to add you can use quark tables if you wish, to make it inline it is the same process as above, copy and paste...

Now if I could just get Quark not to crash when I do that...

...if you are having trouble with quark, try trashing the preferences file so it can be rebuilt...
