I have a table, in which I need to have a blurb, in the form of a paragraph.

However, when I type the paragraph in the table, it does not start a new line, it just pushes the table wider.

I would like to be able to force the table to stay the same size, and have the paragraph fit in without having to manually add <br /> tags to the ends of lines.

I have searched a lot of resources but have not found anyadvice on this specific issue. Any suggestions?

Gary

Have you tried to specify the desired width of the table in the tag??

<TABLE width="123px">
blurb
</TABLE>

You can use % instead of a set width also.

worked great

One more related question that i can not find an answer for.

I want to reduce the space between paragraphs. The onnly suggestions i found was to use something like this:

Code:
<p style="margin-top: -5; margin-bottom: -5">

Neither IE or Mozilla recognizes this.

does anyone know of a solution for this? tHanks.

Gary

Try changing "-5" to "0px". IE and Mozilla kight not like negative values for undefined numbers.

Also, try "-5px" and "-1em".
