System error. Application error 4

Hello,

Need some help with Accpac. I have a user who's running Accpac 4.2A.

He had the following modules installed: Order Entry and Accounts Recieable.

I recently re-imaged his machine and re-installed Accpac. I installed SM first and then the 2 modules.

When the user clicks on the Order Entry -> Invoice module, he gets the following error:

System error. Application error 4 occurred at line 315 in rll:eek:e1116db.rlz.

Write down the message. Exit ACCPAC and Windows. Restart and retry the operation. For more information, see Appendix A in the System Manager User Guide."



* I tried to un-install and re-install the module, but that didn't fix the problem.

From the error it sounds like some sort of a debugging issue in the code, but I'm not sure.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
 
Did you install all the service packs?

I only installed the Order Entry Service pack 4.2A.

That didn't solve the issue. Do I need to install the Service Pack for the SM as well?

Do you have any other recommendations?
 
Absolutely. If you reinstalled any module, you need to reinstall the service packs, including SM. Unless you only ran workstation setup.

FWIW, "Application error 4" has never been reported before. 14 and 19 are the only ones I can find on all the old forums.
