My background is Avaya, however trying to overcome an issue with another facility running Hicom equipment. Here is the details. We use a 3rd party Syntellect IVR server with a hunt-group and CT-Connect. There are a couple of target numbers that forward to the hunt-group, and used to trigger specific IVR events based on the DNIS (dialed number). The issue is that the IVR routing is based on origin of ANI, so when a user gets a call, and attempts to transfer back to the system, the IVR gets that user's extention as the ANI instead of the original ANI of the caller. My thought is that we need to delay the call from getting to the IVR, and allow the user to do a blind transfer, however not sure how to insert a delay between the DNIS and forwarding to the IVR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
