Hi All

Might be the wrong thread for this but...here goes.

I have a Winnt Server based network with DHCP running. Nothing fancy...a PDC and BDC (both on NT4.0). Now what I need to do is somehow create a new and seperate subnet for a test scenario. Can I do this thru software on my servers without mucking things up or do I need a router with its own IP? Can I not use the DHCP server to add a new subnet? And will this affect my existing network at all?

TIA,

Pikk

add a new network card to NT server and connect the new card to new switch/hub for your test and that will do the trick.
