Subform data not visible or is strobing

I copied an Access 2003 database from my PC to a terminal server. When I first open the main form, only the first line of data is visible on one of the subforms (it is a continuous subform). If I click on one of the blank lines of data they become visible but all other lines become blank. A second subform that has two fields behaves similarly, but one of the two fields "strobes" rapidly.

When I switch to a different window, then switch back to the form it displays correctly. It only occurs the first time I open the form.

I'm not sure if the terminal server environment is contributing to this. The exact same form does not behave this way on my PC.

Any ideas as to what causes this behavior?

I just recalled that I have seen this behavior before when I copied the database to another PC in my office. The form displayed correctly on my machine but had the blank appearance on the other machine. The same fix worked: switching to another window and then switching back. Both PC's were running Windows XP Pro SP2.

What versions/service packs of Access were both machines running?
