I have a sub report at the bottom of my main report. Occasionally its detail may cause it to move spill over to a second page. I would like the headers of the sub report to show on the second page. I have added heading labels to the sub reports “report header” section. That does not work. I even created a group header for the key field and put the heading labels there and set the Keep Together property to yes. Still no cigar.

Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance to the Guru that responds.

I haven't tried this but I have an Access 2000 Developes Handbook book by Getz, Litwin and Gilbert that says, on page 675, that to repeat Heads in Subreports, do this...

1. In the subreport, create a group that's grouped on the string expression =1. This creates a static grouping that won't change from row to row of data.

2. Use this group header as the report header. (That is, don't show the Report Header section; use this group header instead, since it won't change throughout the report.) Because it's a group header, it will have a Repeat Section property, and Access will repeat it at the top of a new page.

As I said, I haven't tried it. I am just copying this directly from the book for you.

Along with Tom's advice, I think if you don't have anything in the Page Header of your Subreport and put everything you want in the Report Header of the subreport, you will see it on all the pages of the Main Report as you step thru them.
