Can you please, help me with issue?

I have Report by Client Name and Membership Sub Report.
Both based off the same table.
I have Client Name Group in which Membership SUBReport is inserted.

The problem is that my SUB Report does not distribute data by Client Name. It shows it all per each Client. I am sure there is a way but don't know how.

Thanks

Hi,

Right click on the subreport box in ur main report and change subreport links.

Select client Id or name on the left(available fields) and pass it to the right side (fields to link to).

Below, check select data in subreport based on field and select the client id or name field as u need.

This wud b the way to do it XI. If its some other version, I am not sure.

I am probably not placing it correctly.
When I run Report for a single Client - everything falls into right places.
When I add more clients - all gets jumbled up.

Here what I have:
In Group Header grouped by Cus_ID there are
Cus_ID, Rep_Name
Product_List

Product List is a SUB Report that is suppose to show 1 Main Product for this Company that Company's favorite.

Where should I place SUB Report to see simply:
Cus_ID, Rep_Name
Product_List

There IS a huge reson to have this Product_List as a SUB.
Is Group Header grouped by Cus_ID a WRONG place for SUB to be at?

Thanks

I;ve got it! I did what you told me to do but I was confused by parameters, now I understood that parameter for SUB is the linked field.
THANKS
