When I open my data entry screen, the last record automatically displays. How do I get it to open on a blank record when data entry screen is displayed.

Set the form's Data Entry property to YES. Then, you can ONLY add records. You'll need a separate form for editing, with that set to NO for data entry.

on the "On load" event for the form, put this code in as the [Even Procedure]:

DoCmd.GoToRecord , "", acNewRec
