I wrote a simple vbscript/asp/ms-access site. I need to distribute it as a standalone cd-rom, but it won't work if the user has to install pws and everything to run it.

I wonder if there's a software tool to distribute such an environment in an easy-to-run cd-rom.

Otherwise, is there a way that I can dynamically query an ms-access database using client-side vbscript?

TIA,

PAGV.

To use ASP, you have to have either PWS or IIS. You could make a Windows Scripting Host script (.vbs extension, like all those viruses that are out there now) to run stand alone on a computer, but if someone has anti-virus software set up to block scripting (seems to be the default with Norton), then that wouldn't work for them.
