I am working on farily demanding marketable runtime version of a database application. I am considering purchasing Filemaker Developer to create it, but need help in determining it's capabilities and limitations.

Among my requirements are 1. To be able, at the click of a button, to import data from an Excel spreadsheet. 2. It must be able to print a variety of graphs to help summarize the data that appears in some of the reports that are created. 3. I would like it to be able to report and analyze data over time. For example, what are the totals, by month, of a particular set of data? 4. Can it do any statistical analysis? 5. Can you progam it to print text, if, say, a calculated field's total is negative or if there is a statistically significant variation in an item that appears in a report? 6. And finally, are there any general limitations to a runtime verison of of Filemaker 7 that I should be aware of?

(Whew!)

Thanks for all your help!
