Hello all!

How can I make a speed dial that will have more than 10 numbers? I tried something like "91xxxxxxxxxx, extension" but it will not work as it truncates the first couple of the numbers. Now I will dial the number and as soon as i get the auto attendant on the other side, dial the extension. I am doing this in Button programming for the user. In the phone, it is even worse. It will not let me punch more than 12 digits I believe. I was not counting but it is close to that number.

Is , hard pause or what is the best way to make this happen? This is on 412 switch and phone is 4412D+.

Thanks, George

You have to use Short Codes, not Speeddials. Speed dials do not accept (,).

Try creating short codes, then making the button dial the short code. For instance, setup the short code:

SC: *811
TN: 1<number>,<ext>
LG: 1 <or whatever your line group is>
F: Dial

Then your user buttons could be:

Dial *811

etc.

Peter
