SP2 XP Personal Firewall Issue

After installing SP2 our supervisors and users cannot view some of the screens in their Symposium Web display. They can log into the web console using I.E. (which is basically pointed at the Symposium Web Server)but they cannot view some screens in real time reporting. Some will launch but others will not. They get an error message stating they cannot find the server? Has anyone else had this experience after installing SP2?

i have this problem with only one computer. I have to turn the xp firewall off. All others work with it on. Make sure you have the ip as a trusted site in internet options security.

Thanks Nortellian. We've already turned off the firewall and verified the trusted sites setting. I was wondering if anyone knows what exceptions might need to be made within the firewall so we can leave it on.

you have to set a few ActiveX components to enable in the trusted site settings in IE. Check the install manual for the SWC.
