Why is it that Netscape Navigator requires the <BR> attribute applied after every image in order for it to align properly? Say if you have a table data cell <TD> that has a height of 1 and you have an image inside of it which has a height of 1, withough the <BR> tagged on after it the <TD> will appear to have a height of 5. Why can't netscape be more like Internet Explorer? There are lots of weird things about Netscape though, like the way it interprets CSS. Over all, I would have to say that Netscape is an inferior browser compared to other browsers on the market.

I have noticed that there isn't a lot of leeway with regards to coding in Netscape Navigator; you pretty much have to stick with the standards and not expect anything that isn't part of the 4.0 standards to work.
