SMS?

The question of the day.

We have a website that needs a little status box updated regularly. (i.e. "Closed tonight due to weather", Open 5-9 tonight, etc.)

So I was posed this question: Would there be a way to TEXT the status into the system?

The concept is this:

You would text, for example "STATUS Closed due to weather" to a phone number.
That message would get parsed (i.e. looks for "STATUS" as the first word)
... write the message out to a file (With or without "STATUS", I could parse that later)
... at which point, I would grab the contents of that file, add some HTML to it, and put it on the web site.

SO... is this even possible to do with Exchange? Where would I even start? Obviously, I have to have a way for Exchange to receive a text/SMS message. That's the first bit; then parse it in some way (perhaps a "rule?" where message starts with STATUS, save it to this file....)

Can someone get me started on the right path? Or is this even possible?

Seems a way to simplify this would be to txt to an e-mail address, rather than a phone number... would cut out some steps anyway.
