Hi,

Given:
IPo 500 7.0(12)
Sip Trunk Channel License: 20

I would like to ask if there is a maximum number of entries for the SIP Line? I know the fact that each SIP Line can handle 30 SIP URI, and all the DID will share with the 20 channel license.

why would you want to create that many sip uri? You can use wildcard * to accept any number from the itsp and then just use ICR to route the call.

I still add all the numbers into the URI - makes life easy tracking them for future reference. sadistic I know.

Authentication Method: IP

I have 44 SIP credentials.
I created Trunk#1 for the first 30 SIP credentials (that's the maximum per SIP line).
I created 30 SIP URI statically.
Group# (In/Out) = 30
ITSP = 12.12.12.12

With the remaining 14 SIP cred
I created Trunk#2 for the remaining 14 SIP credentials
I created 14 SIP URI statically.
Group# (In/Out) = 31
ITSP = same as the Trunk#1

--------------
Problem
1. If I'm going to call out using Trunk#2, works fine, but inbound to Trunk#2 gives out 404 Error.
2. If I'm going to remove 1 cred from Trunk#1 and add 1 SIP cred from Trunk#2 to Trunk#1, inbound for that SIP cred (DID) works fine.
---------------

Having what have you said:

In Trunk#1, I may opt to use * in URI table (Local URI, Contact, Display) instead of adding all the credentials statically to URI?
As long as the Trunk#2 (have same Group# as Trunk#1) is on "Idle" mode, will now be able to accept inbound call, since we use wildcard?

Please advise.

TIA.

BTW, here is the screenie of my SIP URI's

Get a proper SIP provider which delivers one credential for all DID's
You should not need a login credential for each DID which give these problems.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
