Does anyone know where I can an information on LCOS Voice. I needed to know what each Auth.Code means. I know if none of the auth codes are checked, you cannot dial out. Thanks.

Each extn has a LCOSV1 and LCOSV2. The LCOSV2 is only used for class of service switchover, very optional. Some 4Ks use it, some don't. The number in LCOSV1/2 has a configuration of LAUTH values assigned to, 1 to 64. The 1-64 does not have to be contiguous. If you dis-cossu:lcosv; you will see the lcos/lauth mapping and maybe some useful text if anyone entered it.

When a trunk call is made, CO or TIE, it looks in LDPLN for the match. The LDPLN also has an LAUTH assigned to it. The active LCOSV of the phone (normally LCOSV1) must contain that LAUTH for the call to proceed.
dis-ldpln:cd; will show the configured routing codes. dis-ldpln:ldp; will show them with the LAUTH values needed to dial them. If you want to focus on a specific pattern, enter it in the dis-ldpln, like dis-ldpln:cd,01234; and that would give you the LDPLN LDP value to display.

After the LDPLN it reaches the LDAT route specifed by the LDPLN. The LDAT elements also contain an LAUTH which must also be satisfied. All your LDATs (dis-ldat;) may be LAUTH 1 because it's easier to control with LDPLN, but if you wanted to restrict certain trunks to certain users or allow the CEO to use an expensive route, you can control that with LDAT LAUTHs. You may find they are all LAUTH 1 and you just need to look at LDPLN.
