We have a 1000B with tdm phones. tied to a 1000M via sip.
This office is closing and we will be powering down the system and removing it.

My question is :
What steps or precautions should I take ?
What programming changes need to be made to the 1000M
to avoid alarms ?

Thanks

It depends on what resources may be utlized on your 1000B. If your CS1000M is using MIRAN recordings or sending calls out those TIE lines when the CS1000M is overloaded then you need to find those possible scenarios and redesign them. You never really know what could be lurking if there is limited documentation and you didn't do it yourself ;D

If the CS1000M doesn't depend on the CS1000B in any way that you are aware of you should just be able to cancel the circuits and shut that puppy down.
We had the EXACT same scenario back in April. I don't think we had anything critical attached so we just got it powered down and it is still offline right now.
