show the first of the month

Hi,

I need to use an existing date in a dataset and then create a new variable which shows it as the first of the month i.e.
if the logged_date is 05OCT2012 I need the new variable to show 01OCT2012 - is there a way to do this??

I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give me.

This is simple Use INTNX() function.

The syntax would look like this:

strt_date = INTNX('month',logged_date,0,'B');
