Shared Formulas

I have several reports that I will be creating over the next couple of months, they will all need to include the same basic formulas (some cdates and similar). Is there a way for me to only have to write these formulas once, and be able to use them in any report I create?

I am using CR XI, connected to an Oracle database.

Use the repository in crystal xi, assumming you have the developer edition.

The repository is best, if you can use it. Where I work, it has not been set up. (Not my decision.)

Two other methods are:

a) Use Save As. Do a basic report with the formuals, as a blank. (What would be called a 'template' for some software, but a Crystal template is something else.

b) Use copy-and-paste to move a formula from one report to another. You can have two or more copies of Crystal open at the same time, which makes this easier.

I have XI Professional. Can someone show me how to use the repository? Unfortunately; I am currently the only one in the company using Crystal Reports, and they didn't want to pay for training so I'm learning everything by experience and help from all of you.
