Does anyone know of a way to setup an email in groupwise to be sent automatically once a week on a specific day?

Try setting up a rule, or change the send date options on an e-mail or create task.
There's more than one way, but it all depends on what you want it to do.

What are you trying to accomplish? Will it be sent to the same addresses every time? Will the email content be the same every time? As Donnadee stated there is more than one way depending on the answers to specific questions.

Cheers,

Mark ;-)

You can send an appointment (like scheduling meetings) and use the autodate feature make it happen as often as you wish. This will also kick it into your GW calendar if you Accept the weekly appointments.

Yes, I am trying to send the same content each time to the same recipients.

Your best bet would be to use either the task or appointment then choose the autodate feature as LolaRed suggested. They can be sent to the same people with same message on any regular basis you wish. If you are scheduling resources such as meeting rooms etc. and these messages do not need that feature the task might be the simplest. Just have them decline the task so it won't hang around in the calendar. With the appointment it is easier to set the time of delivery of the message (with a task you have to goto file>properties when creating the task to set a time for delivery). You might have to experiment to see what works the best for you.

Good luck,

Mark ;-)
