I need a way to set columns in an Access table to allow zero length strings. The database is on a Web server, so I'm going to have to update the table by running an ASP page with ADO code included in it. I'm kind of a novice with ASP and ADO, so I was wondering if someone could help me out?

Thanks in Advance!!!

Can you stop any actions to the database, then download the db and then update it then upload it? Just a thought..

I would love to do that, but that option would be way too risky. It would be nice if Access itself could connect to a remote database on a web server and you could work with a database as if it was local. Any other suggestions?

Or if you have a really nice Host, they may do it for you... but most host charge for that sorta thing... www.vzio.com

This is a Web Server on the net that I can't even Telnet into, I can only ftp into it.

Yes I understand that, I have one as well, you should ask the administrator what you could do. www.vzio.com
