When you use and start setsmsvr, there will be 2 key's made in the registry.
One of the key's is Preferred AbExprtDB with two subkey's.

On this key's when you start setsmsvr.exe the permissions wil be set on the user who start this.

So when an administrator start setsmsvr and logs of and a normal user start setsmsvr, the key will not be accessable for this user.

Is there something i can do about this?

sam

With setsmsvr you can give up youre preferred CAP and DP for a client. These settings will be placed in the client registry.
