I set session timeout to 120 minutes. But users always log out less than 60 minutes. Just like timeout is only 60 minute. I used session.timeout=120 in asp file. By the way, when I print out timeout using <% response.write session.timeout %>, I got 120. Thanks for any advice.

are you including any other files in this page that is giving you a problem? Or is the page a stand alone?

Thanks all of you first. I included some ASP pages. All timeout is set to 120. When I set timeout to 5 or 10 minute, it works fine. Also in IIS, session timeout is set to 120.

I found out that "Idle time of worker process" was set to 20 minutes. I changed it to 120, then the application works well for couples of hours, any session can alive for around 110 minutes. But after some developer change some code and database, it doesn't work again. Sessions time out at different time, 25 minutes, 40 minutes and one hour.

Problem has been solved. There is a default application in Application pool in IIS, I changed idle time to 120. Then applciation runs well.
