Am trying to track down the cause of my memory problems. I've tried restarting the server, yet even when it starts, its already eating about 1gb of memory (832 RAM is available)

So this doesnt do justice to its perfomance. I thought its the sql server, but turning it off didnt solve my problems.

I had a look through the task managers processes - and when adding all the processes together - I get about 200- 300 mb used - NOT 1gb+.

Is there any other way that I can check what's going through the memory like that?

Btw - I have SQL Server, Sharepoint, and Exchange running on it.

My guess is it's Exchange. Depending on how many mailboxes you have, that can use a lot of RAM, which is why it is recommended that Exchange be on a dedicated server if possible.
