Why do I have to continually run Reactivate Disk when I reboot my server that is connected to the SAN? After the server reboots, the drives show up as Offline. Has anyone experienced this before?

I used to have this issue all the time. Make sure;

1. You have the latest MS stoport drivers installed for Windows 2003
2. Run DMDIAG in order to enumerate your SAN attached storage devices.

Although it may not be necessary, you can also try setting your SAN disks as target persistent devices using your HBA configuration tool

Hope this helps

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll be trying that soon, I'll update the status once I know.
