Selecting group interval at run-time?

I have a report that groups by date and prints a group for each day. Is there way to let the user, at run-time, change that so that it groups by day, week, or month, depending on the user selection?

Thanks, I am using Crystal Reports 8.0 and using RDC to embed them in our applications.
