Hello,
Using 123 v5, How can you "search and replace" on only numbers, when I do it, they don't find them when I know they are there 'cos I can see them.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

As you're probably aware, the regular Search & Replace ONLY searches for "strings" in Labels and/or Formulas.

IF you're working with a database, one solution is to:

1) Set up a Criteria Range to include the number(s) you want to change.

2) Use SLASH DATA QUERY MODIFY EXTRACT - to extract the data to an output range,

3) Modify the numbers in the records extracted to the output range, and

4) Use SLASH DATA QUERY MODIFY REPLACE - to replace the records in your database with the "modified" extracted records.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for your help, it was in a spreadsheet and I managed to get it working by converting the fields to strings and then "paste special" - fields as values.
