scroll bars and frames

Hi, In my ASP page I have two frames.In the top frame I have headings and in the bottom frame I have the fields to input values.Now in the bottom frame I haev a scroll bar and some javascript which moves the top frame as soon as I scroll the bottom frame.This is to keep the headings together with the fields.
Now the problem is that I have help text in the form of alerts as a hyperlink on each field heading.so if I scroll to the middle of the page and click on the heading the top frame resets and starts displying the first field at that position.
Can someone help me with this.
