HI all

I know this is strange, and most probably it is not to be posted here, but i will try my luck.

I just started working in this company, and they have 3 servers. HP Proliant DL580 and DL 380. The third one they used it some time ago, but not any more.

They are openning a new location, and they told me to check the 3rd Server if it is functioning.

I plug it in power, and monitor, and the server works.
But now the problem is that noone knows the username and password of the Administrative account.

I can do reformat of the server and reinstall SBS 2003, but i dont want to do that.

Is there a way somehow to get into the computer, and reconfigure it, and backup the data that it is on it, so it can be used for the new location?

Thanks to all for the help.

If it's a domain joined computer, you could theoretically connect it to the network and login as a domain admin. If it's not a domain joined machine, you're likely SOL from a MS point of view. Some third party password reset tools may help, but would likely need to be discussed elsewhere.

I dont think it is domain joines, because it is totally different domain. it was xxxxx1, and now is xxxxx. :(
