Working on an S8700 server (duplicated) running CM 2.2.0. All was well until the server room A/C died over the weekend and everything overheated.
I cleared the alarms for the high temp and both servers are running alarm free. Problem is when I click on Temp/Voltage from the webbrowser, one of the fans is showing 2934, while the others are at 8000+ and the status shows "alarm".
I interchanged servers and rebooted once it was inactive. Still there. Went in and issued the bash command "environment" and it does not show any of the temp/fan speed voltage, just the RAM. Then it says "Error in I/O operation" at the end where I think this information should be appearing.
I have looked through the manual for other commands, but see nothing. The other odd thing I noticed is that no matter which server is active, when I webbrowse to it this fan shows up as alarm. I would think it would be dependant on the actual server as to which fan was having an issue.
Should I just reboot both servers and see if this clears up? Maybe something got hung up when the servers were restarted.
