s8400 Scheduled backups

I can back up to FTP manually, but the scheduled backups do not run. no history that it ran, hence no errors. if I click on the scheduled backup and choose run now, it runs...it just is not running automatically. Any ideas on what to check? this is all fromt he web interface.

If you look at the maintenance web interface logs and select cron for the log type to view. Do you see anything that references a scheduled backup at the time you are setting it up for. You may want to try removing your scheduled backups and then just add in 1 schedule to run in say 10 minutes to your FTP server and watch it to see if you get any error reports if it works then just change the time to your desired time.

looking at yesterday and today all I get is:
View System Logs



Output limited to 200 lines.


No log entry found


Also I looked at this after a backup job should of run and the same thing...its as if the job just is not running...is there something I need to enable to get the jobs to even attempt to run?
