I found one other thread on this topic, but was not able to resolve my problem. The search engine seems to be broken, so if there is a good thread that has the answer, please reference the date.
My dataprovider has these items in it:
<Year> as a dimension
<Month> as a dimension
<Facility> as a dimension
<Qty) as a measure
I start off with a simple 4 column table, and then drag the <Facility> column outside the table into the white space above the table, thus creating a section break, one for each <Facility>. The table now has three columns in it.
I now hightlight the <Year> column and toggle the section break icon, so the the individual years are now set apart from each other.
I now insert a column to the right of the <Qty> column, and enter a runningsum formula in it, but, the calculation continues to accumulate for each year, and continues to accumulate for each facility. I need the runningsum to "restart" for the first month of each year, for each facility.
Can anyone give me any help with this? Can it be done at all?
Very much appreciative of any help anyone can offer. If you can provide the exact syntax for the formula to enter, that would be wonderful.
Thanks.
