Ok, here's the question:
If you choose a FAT32 file system, how are games in Windows 2000? Does DirectX have problems running games that are run in Win98? I realize that Windows 2000 was built for businesses trying to set up efficient networks, but I want to know more about it - I've heard that Windows 2000 has amuch harder time accessing the full array of your system's hardware for gaming purposes. Is this true? Any feedback is appreciate

no problem whatsoever

Nope - just have to make sure that the software will run on 2K. Some of the REALLY OLD stuff might not work (remember Duke Nuke 'Em?), but you shouldn't have any problems.
