rsh from Nt/win2k box

is it possible to execute any dos/windows
command from win2k/nt box onto aix box
i mean to setup rsh to execute virusscan or any
other dos command/programme on AIx box while remaining
on nt box?

u can use rsh command from a unix box only.

Hi,

actually it IS possible. And as far as I've experienced, you shouldn't need any additional software - at least not for NT. The Standard Installation of Windows should provide the rsh command and that is all you should need for your purpose....

The tricky part is to configure the whole thing on your AIX machine...

If you like I could provide you with some additional information on how to configure it ...
