Hi! I really cant figure this out. Help Please.

I have data:

Item Class Name
=============================
1 A Name1
1 B Name2
1 C Name3
2 A Name4
2 B Name1
2 C Name6
3 A Name3
3 B Name4
3 C Name2

How do we create an attribute per Item/Class so that we can display the data in this format:

ITEM Class A Class B Class C
1 Name1 Name2 Name3
2 Name4 Name1 Name6
3 Name3 Name4 Name2

Thanks!!

Create a fact from Name. Use it as a Metric.
The definition of your metric should be Max(Name).

You probably don't need to create a fact if the report mockup you put out is actually real (and then follow iolaper's solution with max(name@desc) instead of max(name)).
If you have OLAP Services, you probably can do that in a derived metric too.

2 cents,
FLB
