Routing to TWO bars-Aloha

Without creating duplicate items to print at two separate bars is there a way in aloha to route items based on job code to different bar locations that may serve the same items?

I don't believe there is a reroute by job code option. However, what you can do is create seperate menus and job groups for each of the job codes and reroute the menus.

you can also reroute printing by terminal. this comes in handy when you have 2 bars on 2 different floors or rooms.

What 150Aloha is saying is that there is probably another way to handle your problem that you haven't thought of-post the scenario, and it's pretty likely someone on here will give you a viable suggestion.

you could reroute by order mode.
then use events to restrict user to certain order modes.

reroute print by terminal

reroute by menu.
just copy menus
use event to assign menu to job code.

I think there are more ways in newer versions.

Yes, through events you can reroute by Term/Jobcode. Maintenance--System--Events. Leaving the Term box blank will assume all terminals. You can also reroute by menu. Maintenace--Menu--Menus. There is a screen where you can reroute printers and taxes.
