On a Nortel 81C is there a way to point a specific number to a particular route? I have the NPA 1978 pointed to a RLI and I want to set upa specific number 978-470-6111 to go to a new different rout that I have set up for testing.

Thanks, Steve

I tried building 9784706111 as an SPN but get an ESN115 error (to Many digits for SPN)

you can have 19 digits - put a space every 3 or 4

978 470 6111

IF you have digit expansion package DNXP 150

ld 22

Thanks for the help bigindian65 that worked.

If NPA 1978 is changed to SPN 1978, you will then get a prompt called ARRN - which you can enter 4706111 - then it will ask for ARLI, where you enter the specific RLI for that 7-digit number within the 978 area code.

ARRN is made just for what you want to do.

I generally make all my NPAs and NXXs into SPNs, just so I can use ARRN when I need to specify down to the last digit within an area code
