Rollover button effect

Hi all

I have seen an effect on

and I am trying to create a similar thing myself but I just cant do it.

Its the way the menu buttons seem to ripple away as you roll the mouse over them. I gather it must be the duplicateMovieClip commmand but its not happening for me whatever I try. Now i'm completely stuck.

i dont know how they did it but you could recreate it easily enough by just making a movie clip with the effect and placing a copy of it on stage. frame 1 would be blank with a stop() action and the button would have a rollover action telling the clip to gotoandplay(2)
