rollover and call apperance

Hi all!

I have a receptionist for an SVP that wants the SVP calls to roll to her when the SVP is on the line. She also wants to be able to pick up the calls before they roll to her. What I'm not sure about is if you can answer a call with call apperance programming or if its just an indicator showing that someone is in fact on the phone. I'm also not sure how to handle the SVP voicemail. Does it have to be turned off so calls can rollover? I have an IP office 406 v2 and running old software 3.2
