ringing problems 1

I have a avaya system that place in this orders. 308EC, partner messaging, and the 509 processor module. it works fine. I setup for auto attendant by letting caller hear the menu prompt before directing them to an extension with direct extension dialing. When i make a test call it would ring once at ext 17 then go into the menu prompt. What i want is to have no ring at any extension when there an incoming call untill they press an extension .

And also sometime when i just hang up the line stay busy for awhile or it just ring like 3 or 4 times at ext 10...when i hang up already

On ext 10 or 11 go in and press feature 00 then left intercom twice then right intercom once and go in under ext 17 and press each line untill it is flashing fast for no ring then press feature 00 and you will be back to normal. The rining after hang up is a disconnect issue. I am not sure there are any settings in the partner for this. May have to call the carrier of the lines.
